Are You Ready to Join the Pantheon of Energy Healers? Look Within to Awaken Your Power! What the World Needs Now—Your Healing Gifts!

Could you be one of the energy healers of tomorrow, a modern master of the ancient healing tradition?

It can all begin on the smallest, most personal level. Maybe there is something in your life that you want to heal. Your health, your weight, your finances, your work, your relationships. And maybe you not only want to heal the parts of your own life that aren’t working, but you also long to help others.

Have you ever wondered about the extent of your healing powers? What would be needed to awaken your capacity to heal yourself and others? How would it feel to expand your consciousness and channel healing energy to help resolve any infirmity on the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual planes?

As often happens in our amazing universe, the secret of healing power is waiting in plain sight. Mahatma Gandhi, beloved healer of hearts and minds, said, “There is force in the universe, which, if we permit it, will flow through us and produce remarkable results.”  Gandhi knew how to harness this force to approach his healing goals of establishing a peaceful and just society. Today, we would call the force Gandhi describes the universal energy field. It is the energy upon which our universe runs–intelligent, alive, and the source of everything. It is the source of healing power.

My experience with this miraculous power began when I was faced with a life-threatening illness. I recovered with the help of an energy healer. I had to know more. What was this amazing, healing force? In my decades of study, I’ve learned almost all that I know about this healing force experientially—in prayer, in meditation, and while conducting energy in the practice of healing. Once I learned to heal the wounded parts of myself, I was able to channel this energy to heal others. I was privileged to enter the tradition of energy medicine known and practiced for millennia.

The ancients knew this conscious and creative energy: how it permeates all space, flows from one object to another, and connects one thing to everything else. What seers took for granted thousands of years ago, present-day scientists are just beginning to understand. Energy medicine, the employment of this inexhaustible force to effect healing in yourself and others, dates back to the dawn of human history.

Every ancient culture on Earth, from the Mayan and the Aztec to the East Indian and Chinese, had healing systems that worked with the human energy field. Prayer and Divine intervention were considered essential elements of healing practice. Wasn’t the Divine the source of all life and the energy that fuels it?

Among the most famous healers of all time was Jesus of Nazareth. Everywhere he went, crowds gathered in the hope of being healed.  The Christ energy, or Christ light, evolved from Jesus’s activation of the power of love and his message of compassion and care. Think of that light as the ancestral Source that we in the modern era can also connect to—a white light that illuminates us and heals all. Jesus was the master healer, and he told his followers to do as he had done. With faith and an open heart, they, too, could heal.

According to astrologers, we have entered the Age of Aquarius, or the age of the common man and woman. In the ancient world, it was believed that this would be the time when all of the lost mysteries would be revealed to ordinary people. I believe that this time has indeed come. We see it happening with increasing regularity: in new physics, new biology, and a new approach to medicine. The frequency and pace of individuals experiencing a spiritual awakening today is staggering… and very exciting!

Are you going to be among those who carry the mystery of ancient healing knowledge forward? Are your healing gifts waiting to be awakened and put to work in a world that desperately needs healing energy? What would it mean to develop your healing mastery: become accomplished through knowledge and practice, gain control of your inner world, and show great skill in your actions and your relationships with others and the world around you?

I’d love for you to join me for a deeper exploration of ancient healing traditions and how you can uncover your true calling. Discover how you can become the person you were meant to be.

And the best way to do that is through our most intense (and most life-changing) program, the LifeForce Energy Healing Level IV year-long program. You can learn more here.

But first, let me share 3 ways that studying to become a modern master of healing could help you advance on the path toward higher spiritual consciousness and your best life:

  1. Learn to master your mind. A study of the spiritual science of ancient India offers the secrets of mantra meditation. The purpose of meditation is to still the mind; calm, cleanse, and refresh the body; and increase your connection to Spirit. If enough of us connect to Source and to each other, we will bring about a profound transformation of life on Earth.
  1. Become a master of your healing gifts. Learn to look more clearly at your inner self, your experience, and your beliefs. Who are you and what is your connection to Source and to the world around you? What are you here to do and to give? Expanding your self-awareness through the spiritual science of ancient India will give you greater resources for contributing to the healing of the world.

The growth of your spirit inevitably lifts up every aspect of your being—and contributes to those around you as well.
Imagine all that you long to do and be and give—and you are imagining the role of the Modern Master you have the potential to become.

Are you ready to step into that role? Are you ready to step into your own mastery?

Did You Miss the Sign?

I didn’t have much experience with advanced hearing, tasting, smelling, or knowing, until I had been in the healing field for some time. Then one day, out of the blue, I suddenly began to hear, taste, and sense things that other people couldn’t. Believe me, this can be a little unnerving at first! Initially, I noticed that I was hearing tones while I was working with clients and, after a while, figured out what the tone meant in that setting. Since I’ve studied music, I wasn’t surprised to find that minor tones signified illness, while major ones signified health, and eventually, I ended up doing almost all of my healing work using sound. Sometimes I will also hear a word or phrase, at other times entire sentences. During the same period, I also developed an uncanny sense of smell; I can sense the rotting odor of sickness in a person from quite a distance. And then there’s my sense of taste, which comes in handy when I “taste” a chemical or drug that someone has ingested. Last to develop for myself and, I’ve noticed, for my students, is “knowings” which are difficult to evaluate.

Most novices think they are having “knowings” but it’s really just their personality they are consulting, which isn’t a form of higher sensing. In fact, typically, it takes many years and many initiations into higher consciousness before “knowings” become available to the practitioner.

As you expand your perceptual abilities, don’t be disturbed if you begin to hear—in what may seem like the most normal circumstances—phrases or sentences in your head containing information that could be helpful to the person or situation you are contemplating.

If you want to begin developing your extrasensory capabilities on your own, simply intend to allow Spirit to work through you. The greatest obstacle is being  afraid. Over time, trust will grow as it becomes easier and easier to surrender your personal will to Divine will. And if you can study under a teacher, like myself, or one of my Grad Teachers, who can validate your sensing, that will accelerate your development in this arena, as lack of faith in your intuitive hits is usually what holds you back. Once a teacher tells you your hits are valid, you begin to trust yourself, and your gifts will open even more fully.

Another common block is the urge many people feel to be in control. The world we live in encourages the development of a strong self-identity. We like to “have it all together” so we can “take the ball and run with it” and always “come out on top.” All of this leads to a false sense of self-sufficiency and strengthens the urge to be in command. Yielding is misinterpreted as giving up, but in reality it gives us access to a far greater power than the small, egoic self. Once an individual gets a glimpse of the vast resources that come flooding in when he or she lets go of the need to maintain control, the resulting freedom can lead to a highly exalted state.

EXERCISE: No Mind Awareness

We’re all constantly receiving information from our environment, but much of it doesn’t make it into our consciousness. People would be amazed to learn how much they missed in any given scene. For one thing, we’re all on sensory overload, and each year that gets worse. If we absorbed that amount of light, sound, and vibration consciously, we’d simply blow out, so our psyche protects us. Another related problem is that, culturally, we rely too heavily on our mind. This misplaced emphasis has resulted in the loss of much of our natural ability to sense. When we learn to relax and shift into “no mind” awareness, we start to receive and experience images, impressions, and sensations that we would otherwise have missed.

The following process outlines steps to focus your awareness:

First of all, relax. Take a few deep breaths and let go of your mind. Let go of the part of you that “tries,” your perfectionist part. You’ll want to allow the right brain—the receptive, feminine, and intuitive side of you—to be present.

Next, open yourself. Take a moment to feel the ground beneath your feet, which will help open your lower three chakras. Intend to release your vertical power current, the energetic cord that runs up through your spine. Then intend to open your heart and feel compassion. Now, relax your brow area, and intend to open your third eye. Feel your scalp relax and intend to open the crown chakra at the top of your head.

Next, lift. Using your intention, imagine an elevator going up inside you, lifting your awareness through your energy field and body up toward your higher self above your head. Imagine that there is a column extending above your head, which makes it easier for the elevator to lift. Let the earth energy—pushing upward from the center of the earth—come through the minor chakras in the soles of your feet, through the legs, and then up through your first chakra at the base of your spine to help propel your awareness skyward.

Finally, connect by consciously and intentionally forming a triangle between your heart, your third eye, and the person or thing being observed. Still using your intention, expand that triangle by moving the point at the third eye up to include your higher self; picture it as the eighth chakra about three feet or so above your head. Now you’re ready to observe that person (with permission, of course), place, or thing, and get information. Allow all of your senses and feelings to receive, and allow your inner ear to hear vibrational tones.

With practice, you will be able to hone your awareness and innate perceptive abilities, and more readily observe, listen, and receive.

Need a Sacred Place?

SUMMER IS HERE, and you want to do something a little different for your two-week vacation, or for a long weekend. You’d prefer to go somewhere like the pyramids in Egypt, or Stonehenge in England, or Machu Picchu in Peru and connect with the ancient spiritual energies, but . . . well, that’s just not going to happen this year. Never fear, you can visit sacred sites right here in the U.S., and you can probably find ones right near where you live.

We don’t often think about the places in the U.S. that are considered sacred, yet there are many. But first, what is a sacred site? Some are places that are held holy by certain religions or cultural traditions; some are geological features like mountains, waterfalls, or caves; some have man-made structures on them. What all of these sacred sites have in common is an energy field that surrounds and saturates them. The invisible field of energy at certain places can have the ability to heal the body and awaken the soul. When a pilgrim enters that place of power and connects to it through meditation, prayer, or ritual, he or she can link up with the power of the place. As a spiritual teacher and a seeker, I’ve often connected to Source at sacred sites.

So where in the U.S. might you go?

If you live in or near the Ohio River Valley, for example, you are in the heart of the great ceremonial mound-building culture that developed along the Mississippi River and its tributaries. Over 10,000 mounds and earthworks once flourished in the area, built by ancestors of today’s American Indians. Many of these earthen hills are filled with burials and funerary objects, while other mounds were used mostly for ceremony. Of the many that once existed, 1,000 mounds are still visible. Others have been destroyed in the name of progress. You know, the “take Paradise, put up a parking lot” mentality. If you play golf at the Moundbuilders Country Club, for example, you could be teeing off on top of the Octagon Mound. But there are still fragments you can see of the Wright Earthworks or the Newark Earthworks. You can also visit the quarter-mile Great Serpent Mound (pictured) near Dayton, Ohio, the largest effigy mound in the U.S., which represents an underworld spirit being. The serpent’s head aligns to sunset on the day of the summer solstice.

In Illinois, the Cahokia Mounds are part of an ancient civilization of Mississippian peoples that was once one of the greatest cities in the world. Part of the complex, called the Monk’s Mound, is the largest manmade earthen mound in the Americas, with a base larger than the Great Pyramid at Giza.

Many of the places that are still sacred to the Native peoples are in the West, such as Crater Lake, Oregon, sacred to the Klamath people whose ancestors witnessed the eruption that formed the lake; Blue Lake, NM, sacred to the Taos Pueblo; The Black Hills of South Dakota, especially Bear Butte, sacred to the Lakota Cheyenne and Kiowa (the Lakota called it the “Heart of All Things,” and an astronaut on the space shuttle who photographed it from orbit said the outline of the mountains looks like a human heart); for the Snoqualmie people, the massive Snoqualmie Falls waterfall is their spiritual focal point, with the mists from the base believed to connect heaven and earth.

If you can’t get out of the city, visit any of the magnificent cathedrals and temples that you may have passed a thousand times without entering—such as Trinity Church in Boston; the Baltimore Basilica; St Patrick’s, the Cathedral of St. John the Divine (the largest cathedral in the world), or Saint Thomas Church in New York—and spend some time meditating there.

From Mount Denali in Alaska to the Bighorn Medicine Wheel in Wyoming, from the Great Mother Mound in Mississippi to the Pipestone National Monument in Minnesota, from Mt. Kilauea in Maui (the home of the volcano goddess Pele) to the Badlands of South Dakota, there are incredible places to visit that don’t need a passport to get to. All across the U.S., there are thousands of sites sacred to the indigenous tribes and nations of this country, each with their own mythology and imbued spirituality. So whether you are aware of it or not, you could be living and working on or walking or driving over sacred land.

Do some research in your local area to discover what once existed there, or what may possibly still be available as a sacred site you can visit. Go online to one of the lists of U.S. sacred sites to see some of the places available in your state. Or come to an energy healing or life coaching course and learn to connect to the sacred site of your own heart.

Sacred sites are everywhere!

One such sacred site – a powerful spiritual vortex – is located in the heart of the Arizona desert: Sedona. It’s a place full of powerful energy, which you can leverage to propel your own spiritual evolution.

And this October 15-18th, the Deborah King Center will be gathering in Sedona, at the Sedona Mago Retreat Center, for a few days of learning, healing, connecting, and spiritual transformation.

It’ll be a pilgrimage that you’ll never forget. And we invite you to join us. Click here for more information >>
