I’ve sat with thousands of students over the years. In rooms, on calls, inside sacred containers. And I can tell you something with certainty: the people who are most ready for spiritual initiation are rarely the ones who say, “I’ve got this.”
They’re the ones who hesitate. Who tremble. Who say, “I feel called… but I’m afraid.”
If that’s you, you’re not behind. You’re not broken. You’re standing at the edge of a threshold. One foot in the life you’ve known. One foot in a life you haven’t fully imagined yet.

- The Outer Work Isn’t Working Anymore
Maybe you’ve taken the classes. Read the books. Cleaned up your habits. Done the therapy. Maybe you’ve even had beautiful breakthroughs…insight, peace, the occasional spiritual high.
But something feels incomplete.
You know the practices. You can recite the mantras. You may even teach others. But underneath it all… you feel like you’re circling something deeper that hasn’t quite arrived.
This is the moment when the outer scaffolding starts to shake. Not because it was wrong, but because you’ve outgrown it. You’re no longer seeking knowledge. You’re craving transmission.
Initiation doesn’t offer more information. It offers transformation. It’s what happens when you stop doing the work from the outside-in… and begin living it from the inside-out.
